Hi!  Welcome to Prince Edward Learning Centre.  It’s hard to explain exactly what we do, because we do so much!  Basically, we’re here to help adults living in The County work towards their goals.  

We’ve helped people do a lot of different things: 

- study for exams (OPP, Water Treatment, Apprenticeship)

- decide what their next step is – high school credit courses, GED, employment training, Career Assessment Program

- prepare to write the GED, which is a high school equivalency exam

- learn to read better, as well as understand what they are reading

- math…all kinds of math for all kinds of reasons!

- computers – we teach the basics

- job specific training (Skilled Trades, Cleaner, Cashier, Landscaping, etc.)

- study and prepare to take the Personal Support Worker course
